Description
Brown Fused Alumina grit (BFA) uses high quality bauxite,carbon and iron as raw materials and is fused and crystallized under the high temperature of above 2250°C. It is both a hard and tough material with high strength, making it an excellent abrasive grain for applications such as grinding wheels, sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation, lapping, polishing, and grinding. Because of its low iron content, it is often used in blasting operations where iron contamination on the non-ferrous metal substrate is not allowed. Brown Fused Alumina Grit is a very hard and sharp abrasive that cleans rapidly. It leaves an anchor profile prior to coating and is suitable for removal of scale, rust and old coatings. Furthermore Brown Fused Alumina Grit's thermal properties make it an excellent raw material for refractory applications. We could produce all fractions for refractory grade and abrasive grade with fixed furnace or tilting furnace.

Description:
Pink Fused Alumina F Grade's hardness is close to, but toughness higher than that of white aluminum oxide. The abrasive tools made of it feature excellent durability and high processing clean. Pink aluminium oxide (PA) is produced by bayer alumina and right quantity oxidized chromium in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. The abrasive tools which made of PA have excellent durability and high processing cleanness. Our Pink Fused Alumina F Grade is manufactured from calcined alumina with a small addition of chrome. One of the toughest fused aluminas available, the addition of typically 0.2% chrome within the melt of the fusion process renders a tougher grain than that of white fused alumina. Made in a similar fashion using calcined alumina as white fused but the inclusion of chrome in the fusion process toughens the product and causes a colouring of the material.
